When we hear a lesson on repentance we have a tendency to
think of someone else who needs to repent.
When I read about Nephi mourning over the wickedness of his people
saying to them three times, “Except ye repent…thou shalt be utterly destroyed,”
I have a tendency to look at others in my life who could benefit from his
words. But what I need to do is look for
the need to repent in my life and bring my will into greater consistency with
the Lord’s will.
