The Lord quotes Isaiah:
“Strengthen thy stakes…sing…break forth into singing…fear not…forget the
shame of thy youth…with great mercies will I gather thee…my kindness shall not
depart from thee…great shall be the peace of thy children…In righteousness
shalt thou be established; thou shalt be far from oppression for thou shalt not
fear, and from terror for it shall not come near thee.” And, Isaiah throws in this little word play
(with a wink, wink): “Behold, I have
created the smith that bloweth the
coals.” Tell me he is not saying “Joseph
Smith will get the fire started.”
