Alma summarizes Ammon and his brethren’s ministry: “…their
sorrows, and their afflictions, and their incomprehensible
joy….” There is the contrast of joy
and sorrow in their lives. The same
contrast of experiences awaits all of us in this life. Please know and understand that God has not
abandoned you when trials and sadness come.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not on thine own understanding.”
(Proverbs 3:5) The best times are yet to come.
