The Gentiles should be profoundly grateful for the gift the Jews have given them by writing and preserving the Bible. To overlook this fact and then proclaim individually or as a group: “A Bible! A Bible! We have a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible,” is offensive to the Lord who has gone to great lengths to put additional scriptures into our hands. The Book of Mormon, the great ”Stick of Joseph,” is the prime example of the Lord’s continued love for his children.
