2 Nephi 27
In this chapter, we go back to Isaiah for a view of our day and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. I marvel that Isaiah not only saw the large brush strokes of the Restoration, which he refers to as a “Marvelous Work and a Wonder,” but also the details of conversations between individuals. Case in point is the conversation Isaiah observed and reported between Martin Harris and Professor Anton in which the professor told Martin that he couldn’t read a sealed book. Latter-day Saints have a particularly clear view of this chapter of Isaiah’s prophesies.
